Semiotic and conceptual study of an ambiguous symbol: The gun flower

-La Señal- and -The Gun Flower- are part of my research and work for the -Violence in Latina America- installation series.

This research and installation series included:

  • Náufragos, for the Jacobo Borges Museum in Caracas Venezuela
  • A Heart for You, for the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose California, USA
  • Labour & Repose, for the Santa Clara Museum of Art in Santa Clara, California, USA.

Unfortunately, violence is an ongoing problem in Latin America.
